Deft
Looks like Serato is getting ready for their own real time stems creation thing. Assume it's one of those new fangled neural network jobs. I'm sure they'll do a nice job implementing it. https://youtu.be/Tn7D6wzf8MM
TBearOne8III
my biggest question is if this is going to be a subscription service or not. I wouldnt mind having a quick way to make acapellas. but i dont want to pay a monthy fee for it. just make it an update
Deft
I feel like I read something that suggested it would be a free update, but that might have been wishful thinking.
savwar
Pretty sure it's free, it's in the 3.0 public beta which you can get now. Mojaxx said it's pretty intensive on CPU usage on the fly, so that's a bit shit for me on a 2015 MBP, but you can analyze in advance and it saves it as a stems file (about twice the size of the original mp3).
TBearOne8III
you may be right about it being free. Here is the link for the beta. Mutis Mayfield
The whole info https://www.digitaldjtips.com/2022/12/serato-dj-pro-lite-3-0-with-stems-launched-today/ also check the Rane four controller (not motorized but focused on steam mixing). https://www.digitaldjtips.com/reviews/rane-four-controller/
Deft
Just installed Serato Dj Pro v3 with Stems. The technology is pretty impressive, not sure if it's any better than other people's implementations but it has got the element of magic about it. TheDJNamedVes
What I'm reading now is that VDJ might have a better results on certain stems with their 2023 update.

I'm on an ancient desktop (Intel Core i7-4790, 16 gig RAM) and nothing too weird happened.
