Activision recently added a new operator skin to COD, called "Loyal Samoyed": -

Here's a piece of art that a user on ArtStation, saillin, created back in 2019: -

It's not 100% identical, but the COD skin is clearly a rip-off. Very similar pattern on the scarf. Same elbow protector on the left arm. Same pack on the right hip. Same patchwork pattern on the lower part of the trousers.

After this picked up some attention on Twitter and was reported on a few gaming sites, Activision removed the skin and issued this statement: -

We have the utmost respect for creativity and content creation. We love the Loyal Samoyed, but regrettably, we erred in our process and have removed this imagery from the game. We apologize for the misstep.

Lame. When you say that you "erred in the process", what you mean is, one or more of your artists stole someone else's work, and you haven't even credited the original artist in your brief apology.
