Steve
Some time last year, the more advanced features of this stopped working. One of the side effects of that was that you had to use longer commands, so, for example, if you wanted to capture a game clip you had to say "Alexa, tell Xbox to record that" instead of just "Alexa, record that". Amazon have finally fixed this shit, so now the advanced features are working again, including those shorter commands. It works really well. Just as well as Kinect did, if not better. I was concerned there may be some delay, so you'd say "Alexa, record that" and by the time it responded, you'd miss half of the shit you wanted to record, but nope - it works great. The full list of voice commands you can use is extensive, so rather than posting them here, here's a page that lists them all: - https://support.xbox.com/help/hardware-network/digital-assistant-voice-commands/voice-commands-with-digital-assistants But yeah, given that you can pick up an Echo Dot dirt cheap nowadays, I think it's worth setting this shit up if you have an Xbox One or Series console, as you can do all kinds of shit related to both gaming and media playback with just your voice.
