Deft
https://store.google.com/gb/product/pixel_4aI've been on Android forever, but Huawei kinda fucked me off with their latest v10 Emui update. Caused Chrome and other apps to hang / crash a lot. I factory resetted and it didn't help, then went through the faff of rolling back to v9. Plus it's now always pushing Huawei services on me. I'd rather the US government had my data than the Chinese. £349 for standard, £499 for 5G. Where I live won't get 5G so I'm tempted to switch over to £349 Googly pure lifestyle. Steve
It looks decent, and having had a Nexus 5 and 6P, I'm definitely a fan of the pure Android experience. I wonder how it compares with the OnePlus Nord.
Deft
There is a part of me contemplating an iPhone SE. I'm not spending big bucks on a phone again, I don't see a whole lot of value in a £700+ phone.

Deft
Posting from my 4a.I forgot how underwhelming getting a new phone is. I've got a 10% discount code if anyone else is contemplating a 4a from the Google Store in the UK before October 15th.
Steve
How are you liking it so far?
Deft
It's been decent. The difference in screen size is taking a bit of getting used to. Must be slightly taller or something, as it feels smaller than I expect from 0.2 inch difference. Also getting used to having no home or back buttons, so using gestures for everything. Nice not having Huawei bloat and a few apps seem to be behaving themselves better. Spent ages trying to amalgamate all my photos into Google photos and OneDrive.
