Steve
This is a useful tip if you want a list of all files and folders contained in a particular folder on your PC. For example, if you have a massive folder of music, this lets you generate a text file which lists everything in that folder. First off, download this file: - filelisting.zip Unzip it and place the batch file in your Windows folder. Next, start Windows Explorer and click Tools then Folder Options. Click on the File Types tab and then click on Folder in the list. Hit the Advanced button and then New. File out the details as shown in the picture below and hit OK: - That's it. Done. Now all you have to do is browse to the directory you want to list, right click any file or folder in that directory and select "Create File Listing" from the context menu. A text file called "filelisting.txt" will then appear in the folder containing the list.
