danswift
Don't be a cunt and post 'I Just Called To Say I Love You'. Favourite Stevie Wonder tracks, everybody's got at least one, right? Loads are brilliant but I'll start with this. https://youtu.be/DR0vwB2Cghc
Steve
Almost all of my favourite SW tracks are from the late 60s up until around 1980. A few of my faves: - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Knxhy-ZlD7w There's loads of his songs that I love from that era. One I also really like from the mid-80s: -

djdiggla
I've come to realize that I don't like Stevie as much as I like the idea of a musically gifted blind man theoretically. I realized this a year ago when Stevie was playing a concert after the F1 race in town and my buddy and I skipped it to go eat BBQ instead. This is probably the only song I care for. I like The Secret Life of Plants too but more as a full album.

Fulfillingness' First Finale is a firm favourite of mine...a massively underrated lp in my opinion. Music Of My Mind is another dope record too. DJ Rock Well
Totally agree on Shoo-be-doo-be and the For Once in My Life album in general Dan, classic stuff. I might be totally wrong, but a singer/musician once told me that quite a few Stevie are hard to sing (even though he always made it sounds easy). He used Shoo-be-doo-be as an example. Phil - might be a roundabout way in, but if you can find the Classic Albums episode on Songs In the Key of Life thats worth checking. Weirdly, sometimes a doc about certain music or an artists has done that for me.
DJ Rock Well
Controversially, apart from Superstition, Talking Book leaves me a little cold. Odd. But fuck it, this week Dirk has said he doesn't like Doom and that The Secret Life of Plants is his favourite Stevie album. So definitive proof, if needed, that we're all wired differently.
DJ Rock Well
Anyway... Trying not to repeat the above. Never mind the famous sample connection, these two are straight killers... https://youtu.be/n2HQVGNLHrc Don't care what anybody says, when this comes on the radio I turn it up and enjoy every minute

Lolofuckinglol ..I later found out that Norman cunting Cook was behind it.. What a bastard..its no wonder(can you see what I did there?)Zoe asked for a divorce.. Steve
I went to school with "Scanty Sandwich". His real name is Richard Marshall, although he did sign to Fatboy Slim's record label.
Steve
Don't care what anybody says, when this comes on the radio I turn it up and enjoy every minute AW did background vocals on this one, so obviously it was gonna be solid gold.
jeljms
I always loved the groove at the start of Too High. Someone in hip hop must have sampled this at some point but I don't know who.

DJ Rock Well
I never that about Angela Steve! Actually, the people Stevie worked with, produced and generally helped out along the way is whole other world to get into. I'm a huge Minnie Riperton fan and that little bit music history obviously wouldn't be that same without him.
Jam Burglar
I've always been a big fan of the Secret Life of Plants album. One of my favorites from the more obvious choices would be My Cherie Amour ... something about that intro. Songs in the Key of Life is obviously brilliant. I have a grip of Stevie records. I picked most of them up in my early digging days because they were relatively cheap and easy to find.
