trevor dane Posted January 7, 2016 Share Posted January 7, 2016 just bought a used technics, the platter wobbles a bit and i was wondering how to go about fixing it. ive tightened all the screws under the platter but they were all tight im not sure whats causing this? will it still be ok for scratching and mixing on timecode? heres a reference video to how bad it is Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
dunknow Posted January 7, 2016 Share Posted January 7, 2016 I had a similar issue on one of my technics after I shipped them back from Japan. Turned out the platter had somehow been bent (I blame customs!). I bought a replacement platter of ebay and it fixed the problem.
