Phology
I'm after a tablet for watching movies/tv on my commute to work. I'm looking for (obviously) something cheap and one with good storage for copying videos onto. Any suggestions? Cheers
Steve
The Lenovo A2 10 looks nice for around £150 (on sale at Argos, Amazon and John Lewis) and there's currently an offer on where you can claim £30 of free Google Play credit: - https://lenovo-offers.com/uk/en/google-play/ It only has 16GB of storage built in, but it's expandable via microSD. If that's too big/too pricey, try the Tesco Hudl 2 which is an 8.3" tablet costing around £100. Review: - http://www.trustedreviews.com/tesco-hudl-2-review There's plenty of great media player apps for Android, including VLC, so media support isn't an issue.
Phology
Thanks Steve - I was put off by the Tesco Hudl but i just read a load of reviews and it actually looks pretty decent.
Steve
Yeah man, it seems like a bargain for £100!
Deft
I've got a Hudl2. For the cash it is decent but it really is quite heavy and the battery life is not brilliant - not convinced you would get more than 5 hours out of it per charge if watching video.
Deft
I might be lying about the weight, some of it could be my stupid case.
Phology
I'd only be using it on the tube, and then probs charge it when I get to work...so i'd only be using it for max 2 hours a day really.
