mankyy Posted June 14, 2015 Share Posted June 14, 2015 firstly, im clueless bout this stuff.was just given the serrato sl2 box by my extremely generous friend, outta the blue. just the box, wondering about what else I need, soft and hardware wise, to get it up and running. so i can see i'll need a few RCA cables and a USB, but what else? EDIT - Actually, it looks like I was wrong about the software being free. You have to pay for Serato DJ, but it looks like Scratch Live is still free. You have to pay extra if you're using it with some controllers (eg. the ones that come with Serato DJ Intro), but Serato DJ can be used for free with the SL2.
