  1. https://communityskratch.bandcamp.com/album/send-in-the-hounds Vince Mack Mahon, Vince Mack Mongrel group projects also are purely scratch based i believe.
  2. yeah man one shot is selected automatically in exs and ive rechecked the boxes that represent that. no dice :/? EDIT: oKay if anyone else is having this problem i found this: https://forum.ableton.com/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=114046&p=893393&hilit=mpd+midipipe Still working my way through that, and probably will be for a while... If theres any more progress i will edit again. Surely there must be Logic users with an MPD somewhere using it successfully.
  3. NEWB Q: sorry to drag this post back from the dead, but does anyone know how to get the pads to work as oneshot? just got the mpd yesterday and ive tried the MTY TGL thing and it doesnt work. using it with Logic's exs24 and everything is selected automatically as oneshot in the exs... not a clue what im missing.
  4. this looks so cool EDIT: I hope someone films Danny Deepo and Nyt Bloomer sets.
  5. not sure if anyone mentioned dexter but i would most certainly recommend his "The Trip" really interesting as a cohesive album listening through in full, aswell as his "jazz files" which is also good. both of these releases are on german label MPM, which put out some dope shit, most notably Carpet Patrols self titled intrumental Hip Hop LP. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-7IbA3h6JMA) Half of Carpet Patrol is Torky Tork, who put out the incredible 'PR110' instrumental album. Weird as fuck, so dope. the other more famous half, suff daddy, also has a load of crazy stuff. Torky and Dexter are both into concept albums eg Dexters sampling of only 60's and early 70's psychadelic stuff in "the trip' and torkys sampling of only aN old german TV show called Polizeiruf in PR110. the limitations they set themselves in sample source boost the creativity through the roof in my opinion. all of mpm worth a check though, i would say. EDIT:mfsop im so sorry also, S. Maharba has some madness.
  6. sixtoo is one hell of a shout, and for some slightly slower, more sombre stuff id recommend his collab with the canadian Stigg of the Dump under the name villain accelerate, postcards and things told especially stand out but all of it is sick.
  7. wow I expected to have a long process to go through with software stuff etc. thank you sir.
  8. firstly, im clueless bout this stuff. was just given the serrato sl2 box by my extremely generous friend, outta the blue. just the box, wondering about what else I need, soft and hardware wise, to get it up and running. so i can see i'll need a few RCA cables and a USB, but what else? I have a mac if that makes a difference. any help appreciated.
  9. okay, will do. thanks . would both USB versions be roughly the same overall too?
  10. I was lookin to buy one of these aswell, seems handy af.
  11. Set of Technics , my ridiculously generous uncle had a second set that he told me i could have on "long term loan" when he saw me gettin more into vinyl. owing him one would be a great understatement.
  12. Is this multiplatform?
  13. Not sure if i was on the right UK list or the US one but i think the sour soul instrumentals are on the UK one, pretty decent imo.
  14. symatic ya killed it yourself too man. Twas an amazing weekend alright. Vibes through the roof throughout.
