portable monitor purchase help

chile

Recommended Posts

So, Im after buying some monitors for taking out to workshops.. They dont have to be crazy loud, but they do need to have a few channels of inputs as I sometimes take 2 mixers for setting up on 2 decks for call and response stuff with the young peeps.. on top of that i also take my electribe, and sometimes we have a beatboxer or someone that wants to emcee so need a mic input (altho i can run that thru the mixer so its not a huge problem) ..Ive been using the person i work withs Roland CM30 up til now, and was going to buy my own CM30, but theyre like 160 quid and its only one speaker.. the only decent thing about it is the three channels worth of inputs it takes..

Was wondering anyway if any of you guys have any suggestions for cheaper monitor alternatives with the same number of inputs?

This is a pic of the back of the CM 30 that I've been using up til now

The 3 channels almost always get used during sessions so theyre pretty essential..
