Steve
I've been an Opera user for years, but Opera (the company) basically abandoned their browser and started over with a new one. The new Opera is basically Chrome with fewer features and I really don't like it at all. The old version of Opera that I've been using is getting increasingly problematic due to incompatibility with sites, so I've been playing around with Firefox which seems to be the only other browser that comes close to suiting my needs. I have a pretty big monitor that's on an arm and sometimes I will browse the web while I'm lying in bed. In Opera, I use a zoom slider like this: - http://i.imgur.com/kOPexdi.jpg So with 1 click on the slider I can jump to a zoom level that's good for my viewing distance. I'm trying to find an extension that gives me a slider like that in Firefox, but so far I've drawn a blank. The best I can get is this: - http://i.imgur.com/HE6afZX.jpg With that you have to keep clicking + or - until you get to the zoom level you're after. Does anyone here know of an extension that gives Firefox a zoom slider like the one in Opera?
Frost
I know in Chrome you can hold Ctrl and spin the mouse wheel. Maybe try that?
Steve
I can do that, but sometimes I just use my trackball so I can read the news. Ideally I would like a way to do it without using a keyboard.

Steve
I've just done it using custom buttons on the trackball. It's not ideal, but at least I don't need a keyboard.
