DJ Rock Well
I had some once, albeit about 8-9 years ago - they were aftermarket replicas (that you'd usually use when originals are no longer made). The ones I had played ok but were fucking atrocious for tracking. So wobbly that I had to resort to stuffing tiny balls of Blu-tac behind the cantilever, partly to stop the cart touching the record when any more than about 3g was applied. Obviously I'd had proper ones before this and knew how to set them up and bed them in, etc. So I don't really know about these new ones, but my gut feeling is avoid if possible. Mike-L
Ah ok thanks.I'll probably get some proper ones instead then. I thought half-price would be too good to be true.
ericuk
We used replica Stanton's and they ate records. Sounded pants too.
