djdiggla
I figure not but thought I'd ask.
Motek
Not really, although you can use some on an android tablet. For Ipad what you can do is use a remote desktop program like Splashtop and run the loopers on your PC.

kut_class
for android there is a SWF player that works very well, but i;ve not seen a way to do it for the .exe's
motosega
again, not solution for the ipad that i know of, but i use linux (avlinux, which is based on debian) on my pc and they all seem to work using wine.(which is a really clever bit of technology by the way.)
Guest broke
I use an app called ProLoop for the iPhone. You have to load the loops yourself, but once you do you have a portable loop player
djdiggla
I had proloop but could never figure out how to load the loops. Is there a trick to it?
djdiggla
Actually I think I was using something different... Is this the $5 app?
Guest broke
Yeah I think it's about $5. You have to enable 'upload' on the app then type a URL into the browser on your laptop/desktop/whatever. An upload page appears in the browser. It's pretty easy. I'd been trying to use Looper and MPX but both seemed confusing so I quickly gave up. How do you get the loops? Do you extract them from flash loopers somehow? I took a couple of beats from loopers and I made a few loops from vinyl, the usual stuff Just use a wave editor to record the audio then chop it
motosega
i had a look around to see if there was any way of getting the samples out of scratch loopers without recording them but no luck, it seems that its not worth the bother. i saw i few apps like motek said that let you turn a flash .exe into a .swf, didn't try any though. djdiggla
^^thanks for looking man! I messed around with the two apps I have before spending $5 on another. Looper is actually pretty good and only $1 but MPX or whatever it's called totally sucks.

Flash decompiler trillix on the mac works a treat. I've got loads of looper beats on my iPhone and they loop perfectly. I paid for the software but well worth it IMO. The trial version lets you get 3 sounds at a time so if you've got the patience it's not so bad
Guest broke
Recording the loop and chopping it down to size takes two minutes.
johnny 1 move
It's only fifty quid and it's already saved me about 5 hours work so worth it for me :-)
