Posting graphic images on the forum - please read

Sometimes you might feel it's necessary to post a graphic image in a thread. If you do, please think whether it's needed before you post it. If you're starting a thread, mark is as NSFW or put a warning in the thread title that it contains graphic images. If it's an existing thread that isn't marked as NSFW or doesn't have any warning in the thread title, then please either don't post the images, post links to them rather than embedding them (and include a description of what they are), or use spoiler tags and make it clear what the spoiler tags are hiding.

 

While you may feel that graphic images are needed to hammer home a particular point, not everyone will agree. Some people are particularly sensitive to such images. Some may be posting from work or at home where members of their family may inadvertently see them. Please bear this in mind so that people can make their own minds up about viewing these sorts of images, rather than seeing them by accident.

 

So just to be clear, here are the rules that I would like people to follow on this: -

 

Softcore porn images - OK with a NSFW tag

Hardcore porn images - don't post them at all

Graphic images just for the sake of it - please don't post them

Graphic images that you feel are being posted for a good reason - use the guidance given above
