doppelkorn
I have my Traktor playing via the NI Audio4DJ and then have my mixer going back into my computer via a soundcard I borrowed off work. Both work perfectly fine except that when both are connected I have an annoying as frig whiney hum going on that's loud enough to hear over the quiet parts of tracks. I have isolated the issue to the fact that the two soundcards are causing this because as soon as one is disconnected it stops. Then once I touch the metal USB connector to the USB port it kicks off again. My not very pretty fix is to use two separate computers which fixes it but it annoys me that it shouldn't happen. dextrous
Laptop or desktop? If on a laptop does it happen when you unplug the PSU and run off the battery? Do the USB interfaces have their own PSUs?
doppelkorn
Good question. Laptop and removing the power cable makers no difference. Neither USB device has external power.
doppelkorn
Last go on this before I officially stick with my workaround. I'm guessing a powered USB hub might help?
