You've chopped them up to be in time with the hi hat but then you're letting certain words/syllables play out at the original speed. I'm not a big fan of the white noisey sort of thing, or the scratchy synth sound or whatever it is. I like the sample you're using - but maybe it's a bit overdone? Steve Posted February 9, 2012 Share Posted February 9, 2012 I would agree with Mike about the vocals and the white noise thing, although I think the vocals are off beat more than a little. If that was intentional then I don't think it works. There is the makings of a good track/beat there, but I would fix up the vocal placement and see how it sounds then cos that might be all it needs.
