Over the past three years we've brought you: Tokimonsta, Lorn, Hackman, Egadz, Buddy Peace, Debruit, Mosca, Doc Daneeka, Slugabed, Om Unit, Alexander Nut, Last Japan, Mr Cooper, Glen Porter, ARP101, DJ Pain, XLII, Daredevil, Hesseltime, Phology and Laurent Fintoni as well as a host of local support! To celebrate we're back with a double headliner! -Mr Thing (Extended Players/ BBE/ DMC World Champion/ Ex-Scratch Perverts) -Blackwax (Tube10) -Jon1st (DROP/ UK DMC Finalist 2011) Beats/Bass Music/ Hip Hop Mr Thing is somewhat of a UK hiphop legend. Not only is he currently one of the finest hip hop DJs on the UK circuit but is also an accomplished battle DJ, winning the World DMC Team Championship with the Scratch Perverts in 1999 and placing third in the World DMC Championship in 2000, an established producer and a hard-digging mixtape DJ. During his incredible career he's supported everyone from DJ Premier to the Beastie Boys, Mark B & Blade to Run DMC. We first discovered the producer/dj duo through their stunning Bleep Best of 2010 competition mix entry (http://soundcloud.com/theblackwax/blackwax-best-of-2010-mix) and later fell in love with their percussive productions. Their forthcoming Surface EP has received support from Om Unit, Dark Sky, Scratcha DVA, Canblaster and Visionist. They've also previously supported Loefah, Girl Unit, Dark Sky, Rustie and Machinedrum and were recently included on the lineup for LuckyMe's Edinburgh festival party! Finally, DROP resident Jon1st will be returning as support..
