djdiggla
http://s579.photobucket.com/albums/ss232/kilobytemodshop/dirk%20C64/?albumview=grid I have been using this C64 + synthcart for a while for fun, but wanted to start recording with it, so needed to get an earth put in to kill the hum. While they were at it I also had them bolt the keyboard overlay down, add an 1/4" in/out, feedback mod, and put the filter slider on the side (instead of using Atari paddles). I might get it painted too, but dunno. I'd like to eventually get a totally decked out one for running MSSIAH (midi sync & sequencer) but this is great for now! Face Melt
cool. i love chiptune but don't know much about the original machines as i hate working with applications that aren't up to date. are you using the commodore as a synth now? i know that the sid chip is one of the most highly prized among digital synth enthusiasts. djdiggla
Yup. Using it as a synth and recording into Ableton. I would like to eventually get another with dual sids and run MSSIAH which is a MIDI/sequencer program cartridge.
