Wax On Posted August 17, 2008 Author Share Posted August 17, 2008 its all good. i burnt some simian mobile disco & m.i.a & stuff, but just didn't bother playing any. it was crazy, its the first bar set i've ever done in derby where people are fine with the music and didn't ask for r'n'b & bullshit that's nothing like what i'm playing. i mainly played hip hop & disco with a bit of soul and funk, and the staff were digging it and it looks like i've got a fortnightly residency so i can finally afford records again. woooo! its about half the money of a slot at the local revolution, but i'd far rather do this cos my music works a lot better brrrrap!
