Steve
RegionFrii - Use this to convert a game ISO from one region to another, e.g. from Japan to USA. Some games from different regions won't work no matter what you do. You can find a detailed list HERE. Wii Brick Blocker - Some games have a firmware update built into them (Super Paper Mario for example). If you are using a game from a different region in your Wii and you do not have the latest firmware installed, the updated firmware will automatically install, but it will be for the wrong region. As the Wii hardware is region locked, this will brick your Wii making it unusable. You have three options - Only use games designed for your region. Make sure the firmware is fully up to date on your Wii before running a backup from a different region. Use Wii Brick Blocker to remove the firmware update from the ISO before you burn it. Unscramber 0.4 - When you download games, they usually come in one of two formats - .ISO or .WII (very occasionally .WOD as well). You can burn an ISO easily enough because it's a disc image, but a .WII (or .WOD) file has to be unscrambled first. Here's some simple instructions on how to do this using Unscrambler 0.4: - Create a folder called "wii" (without quotes) in the root directory of one of your hard drives. Unzip the .WII file to that folder and rename it to "game.wii" (again, without quotes). Unzip the contents of the Unscrambler 0.4 folder to the wii folder with the game in it. Hit Start, then Run and type "cmd" without quotes and hit Enter. Type the following commands exactly as they are written, ignoring the parts in brackets, pressing Enter at the end of each line: - cd\c: (or whichever drive you are using)cd wiiunscrambler.exe game.wii "game.iso" (quotes must be used) The operation only takes a couple of minutes, and when it's complete, you'll find a file called "game.iso" in your wii folder, which you can then burn as a disc image.
