Monkey-Hands
monkeysaudio shrinks wav files to half the size and puts them into .ape folders. So I guess the whole Album is in wav!?
2ndhand
i guess, yeh.it's endtroducing by shadow. a mate of mine wants it. i'll use the monkey soft to try to make it .wav again. should be good qual!!!!!!!!
Monkey-Hands
If it is in .ape file now and you unpack it, it will twice of its size then!
2ndhand
i know. but then i can use ahead nero to burn them. not sure it supports .apes
Monkey-Hands
I think it wont support them. Or does nero support ziped/packed files?
2ndhand
it supports mp3s, and i reckon it'll handle a wav? well i hope.

2ndhand
well then i am laughing. and it should have good sound quality too. about 700 meg of wavs for one album?
Steve
Monkey's Audio is a really good program. It comes with a plugin for Winamp so it will play the .ape files without uncompressing them. The codec is lossless so .ape files sound exactly the same as .wav.
2ndhand
its win-win thenwould fs play .apes? dub?
Steve
I think it's unlikely unless there is a plugin for it.
