JOINING AVI MOVIE CLIPS WITH VIRTUALDUB

Sometimes when you download movies off the web, they're split into 2 or more files. A lot of DVD rips are split into 2 700MB AVI files for example. This small tutorial shows you how to join those files.

Download VirtualDub from here. It's free: -

Fire it up and choose File, then Open video file. Browse to the first file and open it. Move the slider at the bottom of the window to the end - the last frame of video. Now go to File, then Append AVI segment and select the second file on the list. Repeat this process for each clip you want to add.

Now hit Video, then select Direct stream copy. Do the same with Audio. Finally, go back to the File menu and choose Save as AVI. Name the file, select where to save it, then sit back and let it do it's thing. Job done.
