Sideshow
Why don't you choose a few of the pics that people did to advertise the site and put a sticky somewhere with info on how to promote this site by putting stuff in their sig? ie, have the html code ready to copy and paste into your signature settings on other boards, like this one i just did:<a href='http://digitalvertigo.co.uk'><img src='http://digitalvertigo.co.uk/uploads/av-8.jpg' width='130' height='35' border='0' alt="Digital Vertigo"></a> when i paste that into my sig on other boards it is one of monkeys tags with a link hereit's simple but people might not want to mess about with html etc (might not even know how to)if the code was there to c&p anyone could do it if they wanted maybe put a choice of pictures for people to choose whichever they like

Steve
A lot of sites allow BBCode in the sig but not HTML. The code you need is below, although you need to resize the image to the dimensions you need before uploading it somewhere: - [ url=http://www.digitalvertigo.co.uk ][ img ]http://www.addressofsite.com/nameofimage.jpg[ /img ][ /url ] There are some sites that use a slight variation on this where you need to use quotation marks with URL tags, in which case the code looks like this: - [ url="http://www.digitalvertigo.co.uk" ][ img ]http://www.addressofsite.com/nameofimage.jpg[ /img ][ /url ] Just remove the spaces within the square brackets to make it work. Steve
If you want to use the image in my sig then this is the address you need: - http://homepage.ntlworld.com/stevebluck/images/logo4.gif That gives you this: - http://homepage.ntlworld.com/stevebluck/images/logo4.gif           Click above to visit DV! Sideshow
there you go, that's what i was thinking, you should stick the code somewhere so people can see it easilydo a choice of images too
Steve
[url=http://www.digitalvertigo.co.uk][img=http://homepage.ntlworld.com/stevebluck/images/logo4.gif][/url] [i][b]Click above to visit DV![/b][/i] Some sites won't let you put spaces at the start of lines. If you want to put some text underneath the pic (as in my example) and use spaces to align it then hold down ALT and type 0160 on the number pad. This inserts a non-displaying space character and will get round the no space rule.
