Audition question..........

Recommended Posts

If you have a beat that's 100BPM all the way through, is there a way to change it so it starts at 100BPM, but gradually increases to say 110BPM by the time it reaches the end of the track? I'm sure there is, but I dunno how to do it. I want to be able to do it with a fair bit of precision. Any ideas?

Select the bit you want to increase in tempo (or the whole track), then go to Effetcs > Time/Pitch > Pitch Bender. Select the range in BPMs, in your case 10, then set the base BPM (in your case 100).

I thought that's what you wanted.

I guess you can do it, but with key correction / time stretching? The way I described above doesn't just change the pitch, it actually changes the length of the wave as well (ie like manually increasing the pitch on a turntable).
