Steve
If you have a beat that's 100BPM all the way through, is there a way to change it so it starts at 100BPM, but gradually increases to say 110BPM by the time it reaches the end of the track? I'm sure there is, but I dunno how to do it. I want to be able to do it with a fair bit of precision. Any ideas?
Chee
Select the bit you want to increase in tempo (or the whole track), then go to Effetcs > Time/Pitch > Pitch Bender. Select the range in BPMs, in your case 10, then set the base BPM (in your case 100).
Steve
Doesn't that change the pitch of the whole beat to 110 though?
Chee
I thought that's what you wanted. I guess you can do it, but with key correction / time stretching? The way I described above doesn't just change the pitch, it actually changes the length of the wave as well (ie like manually increasing the pitch on a turntable). Steve
I want the beat to start at 100BPM and gradually increase in speed, reaching 110BPM by the time it ends.

airnino
hmm there is a thing called tempo envelopes in cep 2.0 (next to pan/ volume envelopes), but actually i just checked and i couldn't get them to work...
Steve
Yeah, I tried that, but when I pressed the button nothing happened. With the other envelopes, lines appear on the clips that you can drag around.
