rygon
some screens have a degauze setting which when you click the button it flickers the screen. i think its supposed to get rid of magnetism
Guest Deeswift
Yeah. On my monitor there's buttons on the front to adjust brightness, contrast, blah, and degauss.

rygon
ive got a 17" tft. was gonna get a 19" but couldnt justify the extra £70real good quality much better than my old crt. i dont think tft have degauze as they dont have a tube in them. rygon
yeh but it can also make it worse...just degauze the thing...simpler and will help more (dont do it too many times in a short space)

Clownstyle
I would much rather use a crt monitor than a tft monitor... Ask the graphic designers which they prefer they will say crt everytime!
easydrop
i am using CRT monitor all time, so much better than TFT except the size matter... also yeah, one of my friend who is graphic designer he say shit about using TFT for graphic design too
rygon
yeh true the quality aint as good on the tft but as i only use it for djing mostly and a few games the space saved is a goodsend and the quality doesnt bother me at all (i find it great)
