xp may be a bit heavy for the p3 700. use windows 2000 instead. i speak from experience. my work PC was a p3 700 and i had 2000 on it up until recently. start of this year, i put xp on it, and it was so laborious to use. i had to buy a new pc. the p3 -7 was too slow. i had to use my own money too as the company wouldnt pay for it
