I would probably gamble and go the year before Cheese so my "crazy scratching gimick" would be new and fresh and hopefully the world would be ready for this brand new sound. being serious though, i think in my current form i would struggle with the cheese era. i think i have lost all my coordination. im actually strugling to combine the most basic of scratches without mentally and phsicaly pausing between them. If I had a week or so to get back into it, it dont think it would be so bad, but now im a lost cause. I dont think i could beat mj fox at the moment

many years ago i was in sound control looking at ways to spend some christmas money... we happened upon a "DJ in a box" which my friend rather synically commented, "how the hell does he fit in there? or is it just some black boot polish and gold chain to make you look the part?" Does anyone here know about usenet ? I have been trying to download loads of old classic DOS games but all the websites direct you to links for paid downloads, torrents with 0 seeders or tell you to use Usenet. Ive tried reading up on it, but it all seems a little vague. Anyone used it or can recomment a guide ? ohh yeah, i should add im already reading usenet.org to see if it can help me...

I was playing with rebirth for a whole week on the way to work ( about 5 hours total) and tought myself how it all works (although Im still randomly working out some bits) and put together quite a good compostion. then it farted and i lost all my stuff. havent really tinkered with it since. but ill be giving it another go just as soon as ive cracked the tower defence game.

I am just wondering if anyone has actually found a perfect music album yet? I find that no matter how much i like a group or an artist, I always find 1 or a few songs that I just dont like and always skip past it. The closest I got was moseley shoals by Ocean Colour Scene, but 40 past midnight buggered that one up for me...

The only problem I have really is the dire hardware provided by the Swiss cablecom.... we get 3 sockets in the wall, 1 TV, one Cable and 1 Radio. However the 1 cable connection in the living room can only handle either the HD box or the modem (they appareantly dont make cable splitters for the wires) so at the moment im unplugging the modem everytime i want to watch TV. This is a ball ache! The only other option I have is to put the modem and a wirelss router in my bedroom about 10 metres away and run the net through the wireless. If there is no noticable lag, then I think ill do this.

Are wirelkess routers any good for online gaming ? I cant rememebr where i read it but they said that there is a tiny but noticable lag when playing when compared to directly wired systems. I dont want to get even more frustrated with bad company than already am! lol

Yes, Select all the songs from the album you want to make into a comp then right click and choose "get info" then on the options tab tick "part of compilation" and make sure it set to yes Ahh yes! Cheers! Its nesteled neatly between skip album while shuffling and the album volume boost options... who thought to put it there?!

Im not quite sure what you mean... What I wanbt is so that when you click on the album view (so it shows you all the album covers in a grid) i have all the CD's and covers arranged nicely. For some reason when I drop a compilation album into this view, it makes a new album for every artist. I have checked that the album i have is labled correctly (so that the album name is the same in every song) but this hasnt helped. It just seems to be pot luck to get it to work (hip hop dont stop worked perfectly, but its the only one) Is there a tick box or something simple im missing?

Easy now! After a long break from music and what not I ended up dragging my shit round to a mates house and some rather strong shit we recorded some music in a post munchie experiment! Anyway to cut a long story short, Im organising my itunes library (properly)but I cant make compilation albums. when i drag an album by a single group it works fine, but with various artists, it makes 12 seperate albums. Anyone know how to drag and drop comilations (usually wrongly labled cos downloaded) into a single album ?

MW2 is almost unplayable now on the xbox due to cheaters and next level campers.. Hows the PS3 scene? I completely agree! there are so many cheaters and campers an the xbox its almost unplayble... There is nothing worse to be midway through a game and then 4 or 5 emergency airdrops all land at the same time! its rediculous! I had to quit 3 games in a row untill i found a game whre people werent cheating or runinng around with dual shotguns! im getting close to stopping playing really... especially if you want to unlock everything (titles and badges) you need about 3000 kills with every weapon! its hardly worth it becasue nobody is ever gonna do it! what you on about pete? thats not cheating is it. theres a perk which drops 4 air drops at a time, u know that right? and akimbo shotuns arent that hard to deal with if you know what your doing, just stay far away from em! i think its a wicked game, theres certainly no cheaters and never had a problem with campers... may be you need to sort out your perk set ups or something to deal with em better?? When you get an air drop, you can glitch it by climbing over a wall.... you select the air drop sothe flare is in your hand. you climb onto a wall, during the climb you press the D-pad left twice before its finished climbing and then you can get the airdrop but you dont use your kill streak (bad explanation, but you can see it working on youtube). Rinse and repeat... with the less subtle players you get 5 or 6 supply choppers coming in at the same time.

i would say in under 5 sec to get it 95% right. then fine tune for about 20sec. With d%b its to easy I agree with the timings but not D&B! I find the faster stuff like DandB and happy hardcore (yes i hang my head in shame) the beats are so fast i can barely make them out when they arent in sync and its more luck that i get them near enough to fine tune. the same goes for slower tracks (about 70 or 80BPM) by the time im satisfied the beats are spot on the track has finished! i think 120-130 is the best to beatmatch in pretty much secnds
