Homemade of course - because the wankers at Rane are taking far to long to produce these.
Ok so here's some diagrams to help you out.
First take lots of little bits of timecoded CV01/02 vinyl and some good house hold glue...
or a pan with some watered down baked bean juice will do (preferably Heinz)
Or
Take a CV01/02 and follow the illustrations below...
and there you have it a handy 7" inch control vinyl!
Thanks to mrdee for helping!!

All chkdsk says is:
The volume appears to contain one or more unrecoverable problems.
Does this mean it goosed?
-
Thanks fellas
I'm gonna go give your methods a try - i hope they work!
The first thing i said to my folks when they were pig sick it happened "if anything its taught you a valuble lesson always back up your data!" it didn't helpmuch at the time but they know what i mean. lol
-
Ok so my old man uses his pc a lot for his business. He photos his paintings and sells the prints alongside his originals.
He turned his pc on the other day and it wouldn't get past the black screen with the Windows XP splash and the blue bar that scrolls across. It would just get to this part and restart itself. Then the options come up to start windows with the last known good configuration or safe mode etc.
None of the options work, even safe mode, it just won't come on.
So i purchased a new SATA harddrive for him put a new OS on it and hoped that when i got that on i could run his old HD as a slave to get the data off it. Now the pc isn't picking it up at all, its there in the BIOS but won't recognise it in My Computer.
This has really pissed him off and my mum who does all his printing for him and keeps everything in order is in tears with the thought that everything has gone. Its not just the prints, most of them are backed up, its the print settings and all the custom paper sizes for the canvases etc, spreadsheets and important shit.
i've looked into these Data Recovery places who say they can restore lost data, does anyone know how they do it? They charge anything from £200 - £2k for a single HD!
Cheers.

Matt there's a tiny record shop in Barcelona that i came across it had loads of interesting good shit in there too. Blink and you'll miss it. But if you see the Adidas shop which is down a back street off Les Ramblers its opposite there.

I've started spending my not so spare time doing some paintings. I did James Brown as my first and i'm a fan of Willy Wonka and my missus has a thing for Johnny Depp.
Bob Marley was done to order and sold straight away!!
Just thought i'd share them with you lot, see what you think of them. I'm gonna try and get a collection of many icons and flog em.
Just finished this one, Marvin Gaye...
