  4. i use the corporate edition too - i find it very good, but then, if it hadn't found a virus i wouldn't know would i? suppose it's the same for most, unless you run a couple to see if one catches a virus where another misses it it's hard to tell

  7. i think stickey earns extra respect for researching the best regional diss that applies that really is 'next level' name calling - nice one
  8. the cheapest i have seen the xs8 in the uk is £299 and the xs4 for £149 bloody massive difference between us and the u.s.
  9. it depends on the software you use i know in sound forge 7 for example, there are about 15 different settings for timestretch, each is more suitable to different kinds of music ie one setting works best on drums, but would make a vocal sound weird each software is different though
  10. there are programs that can do it, but they can only use brute force and dictionary methods, ie they would never have retrieved the password for this file and any passwords over 6 or 7 letters would take for ever
  11. damn, i use fruity a bit too and i never knew that, doh
  12. my lights are always off - usually a bit of a struggle to see which switch or fader has been twatted to see why i'm hearing nowt, but after that it is cool
  13. 'chinese' bit sounds good, it all sounds like it was building and building until just before it ended a beat starting in there would sound great imo
  14. nice, one small crit is personally i'd like the tablas (or bongos or whatever) near the end to be a little lower really good though, what software you use?
  15. what were you looking for in the 'wacko' section? Michael Jackson?
  16. no, it's for drum loop samples if you load a drum loop into it, it will set markers at each 'hit', depending on the sensitivity you set then it saves them out as seperate wave files and a midi file so when you load it up in a sequencer it plays back identically but then you can rearrange the notes to get different beats i think it was used a lot in jungle back in the day it was also good for changing tempo of a sample, before pc's could timestretch as easily as they do now
  17. great little tool - i remember using it when v1 came out many years ago i have v2 now but i don't have too much use for it - it's very handy when you do need it though

i think you can do it with any email program just copy the content from a real bounced email, send it from a postmaster type address rather than your own don't know if it will do any good though i've done it before as a joke
  19. it's not a bad idea actually to get sigma to send them out for you over here (if he'd do it) save you a lot on postage to uk
