out of interest do any non irish people here like the pogues? i think they are fucking unbelievable. "rum,sodomy and the lash" is one of my favourite albums ever. you'd probably never guess that im listening to it right now. i went to see them in dublin the night before christmas eve and in terms of atmosphere it was one of the best gigs i have ever been at. you couldnt understand a word of what shane mcgowan was saying between songs but once he starts singing his voice is crystal clear. seriously, anyone who hasnt heard that album get it.
