yeah... theyre kinda bum without the tascam controller...

i have some of these...and i think theyre wicked... i prefer the response and sound of these to the numarks to be honest.... being able to use ya decks is mint... slow scratches....yeah....a wee bit digi......but whatever..not enough to cry about what else can i say about these... oh yeah... they work better on the vestax tables than the techs....i think cos they have been 'calibrated' for the optimum shit on pdxs... pzz

haha! damn.... punch buttons?! that sounds classy compared to what i started on.... hifi deck + one headphone / walkman + one headphone, using the left / right pan channel fader on the hifi to cut the sound in and out....the year was 1991....

easy steve... the pro faders are well cheap....20 quid, yeah that sounds about right... they will be the right ones, but when u get them, theyll be without the boards attached... so basically, u gotta re-solder the fader onto the board as far as i can remember.... thats my recollection of it anyway.....ask baron, he will be able to tell you...hes had a 320 for years.

but lots of music sounds good after 12 E's... dont be fooled.

hehehe.... its all good. i truly couldnt give a flying fuck about peoples opinions of my shit...i do it for me, not for anyone else, if other people enjoy it then great.... i chose to make it sound old...that was what i wanted...... with tracks like this, i almost try and make it as 'generic' as i can....so even my auntie could listen and appreciate it at some level....again - thats my choice to do that...i do it DELIBERATELY cos i see that as one way of getting people who DONT cut to be able to listen to it and accept it as a piece of music...rather than just loads of noises. if thats either selling out, being wack or not fresh or whatever.....then....well.......basically tough shit innit. lol i just dont see the point of making stuff that is only listened to by pure scratch heads.... thats where the concept of making real sounding music via turntables is a brilliant idea.....but sadly falls down on one thing - unless ur a DJ....then generally speaking.....no one gives a shite whether its been made cleverly and skillfully on turntables, or whether its been recorded with My First Record Player and two paper cups with a piece of string..... so......kinda defeats the object doesnt it? pzzz
