well, my fader is not entirely broken. I can scratch on one side of the fader but not the other... it works but its kind of annoying. I guess you could glue it together or something :s I actually tried that, it worked for a while. there is this little peice of paper on the side of the fader the says something like "warranty void if broken" and in order to open the fader you have to break that.

same thing happened to me... I hope you didnt open your fader up to look inside. when mine broke i opened up the fader and by doin so i broke the 5 year warranty i havent bought a new one yet... the broken one is still scratchable, tho the cut in time is like 5 mm...

sometimes i focus on certain scratches and sometimes i just scratch... nowadays tho, I dont focus on ONE SCRATCH as often as i did a couple of months ago.

ive got a simular problem, "the file cant be deleted because its in use", thats what the computer says but ive never used the file ever! any ideas?
