I use CaiLube X-10 for my borrowed Empath. My 56 takes it as well; your SA-5 would be perfect for it.

I don't find it fun playing russian roulette with my records. I'm not sure how to mark my records within one revolution of the sample; so I was wondering if you could help me out... I'd like to mark my records with the "linear" method as opposed to using the sticker method; but I'm not sure how to do it properly. This is supposed to be the "linear" method - O = middle of record IIIII = purple sticker at the end (easier to see in dim lighting). O-------- sample IIIIII I'm not sure if you know what I'm talking about - but its the method used by I-Emerge. I'm sure other DJ's use this method; but I switched genres from Trance to Hip-Hop; so please bear with me. Take it easy.

A-Trak's Gangsta Breaks is pretty sick. I've actually never played the first side until someone mentioned it. =p

In my arsenal of records, my favorite one so far seems to be - Stick N Cut - Volume 2 by Fader Ballastix I like the jingle on the 2nd side of the record. It reminds me of X-Mas. Megaman is pretty sick as well. The electro beats are killer; 5 Fingers of Death - Volume 4 isn't bad either. The beats are unique, the scratch sentences are great, especially - "This stuff getts reeaall freeessh!"

I've been scratching for a good 2-3 weeks now. (My scratch vinyl came in the mail). After about half an hour of scratching, the top portion of my wrist and hand hurts. Is it just me, or is it something that you just get used to after a period of time?
