  1. Also I can't remember if it was someone on this forum who had said that anything over 6volts to the motor is useless. I'd like to see if this low voltage controller would work or what you guys think about it for an ultra pitch setup. Any luck with that??? I think thats the one im using or very similar. I couldnt get it to work when using batteries, Worked fucking great when plugged in tho. I probably wired it wrong or need to tap into the power at another spot. Im kinda just waiting for someone to figure it out first. I dont wanna experiment too much... thats what got my handytrax lookin hobo-ish.
  2. Anyone use a PWM DC motor speed controller for their pitch? I ordered one from amazon and its awesome but some reason it doesn't work when powered by the batteries. I removed it and went back to the resistor method but I want it to work.... plus I already drilled the hole for the knob haha. The module I used is here https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B010JNKFKM/ref=yo_ii_img?ie=UTF8&psc=1
  3. Nice! I need that adjustment plate baaad. My lag adjustment is a strip of a laminated card I cut and a couple of layers of masking tape for a tad more height. I tucked it under the fader cap on the cut side so it prevents it from from goin all the way. I adjust the lag by raising and lowering the fader cap slightly. It's hood but it works really well. If I had to keep making adjustments and toying with the lag I probably would have found a better solution but it cuts where i want with no fiddling. Really I just want a cheap but buttery drop in solution but Ill kop an adjustment plate from you man... good work. Your switch cuts super sharp compared to mine. I think my switch is faulty because theres a noticable curve. Volume fades slightly before it cuts. It sucks.
  4. That's sounds pretty clean. I thought of making a fader using reed switches when I first got my handy trax years ago. Decided to just chill with the mods because I was my case was starting to have Hella unused holes from trying different stuff lol. But I might try that on my pt01. Maybe cut the rails and shorten the fader to fit it to the scratch switch plate to make it a drop in fader like jesse dean is doin. If you haven't checked it out yet... https://youtu.be/l3XfdGInQGc
  5. Wsup everyone, I've been been silently a regular visitor of this forum for awhile but especially now with this thread. The shit you guys are doing for the portable scene is dope. Much respect. I just got my pt01 scratch and decoder board yesterday but haven't cracked open the deck yet. I was just wondering if there's a reason why nobody mounts the decoder to the top of the deck? Maybe the layout inside the turntable won't allow for it? It'd be pretty sick to have the face mounted to top instead of the side.
