  1. @djlogix does your Bluetooth device have ground loop noise? I don't want to say it doesn't need one because I haven't tested it on a Car, it probably be a good idea to have but with the wall AC and batteries is OK It does not, all test with all devices is dead silince
  2. Thanks mikekimonkey! that's so cool, I was questioning my supplier about a fix or a solution and still I haven't heard back from them.
  3. Yeah you control the volume from the decoder device itself for its sources, and yeah it retains the ability to plug external sources as before, including the USB to connect to your computer or to DVS software like edjing via mobile device
  4. They are called MP3 Decoder Board, it's a DIY board for projects, it will basically act as an intermediate board between the PT01S AUX-IN board and the PT01S Output board Look for them in eBay as "MP3 Decoder Board" or "MP3 Decoder Board Bluetooth" This is the one I got. http://www.ebay.com/itm/152278026152?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT Edit 11/15/2016: English voice menus http://www.ebay.com/itm/181989312460?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT The key here is to get one that has AUX-IN in a JST 3-PIN connector, here is where the original PT01S AUX-IN connector OUT will be connected. I'll elaborate more in the build video and post.
  5. Numark PT01 Scratch - Look Ma' No Cables! Modd Hi, just finish a first prototype to a modd to the PT01 Scratch, basically is adapting an Internal Audio Source with USB Drive, SD Card, Bluetooth and leave all the original functions intact, so you could still use the original AUX-IN with it's gain and the USB transfer port for music transfer and iOS/Android DVS. More important this hack now makes the PT01 Scratch a truly portable scratch solution, no phones or external devices need as a second music source, no more cables, no more draining your device battery, no additional chargers! The idea is just take your PT01 Scratch and GO, kind of taking your book to read! This first video is long as I wanted to show all the features in detail and the great solutions this is, secondly I was too lazy to do editing. I'll post a second video and photos showing the device and the build, internals and connections, also I'll list here shortly all the parts needed to do this modd. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Second video showing the device I selected for testing, and a little about the immediate convenience that this modd brings. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Decoders review, Tips & Tricks --------------------------------------------------------------------- Here's the video for the build, also the picture on how to connect everything. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ This is the list of items you will need. 6. Hey Elliot, Carlos here; That would be great! Let us know what would you need from us and how could that work. Sorry to get a little head of my self but how about the possibility of the Innofader cutting on both sides? I think it could be a feature extremely useful for the Innofader to have in this new era of the Portablist/Portablism! Carlos
  7. This is my test of the Innofader Pro on my PT01 Scratch. To get a green light on the test board you need to: 1.- Swap PIN 1 (Yellow) and PIN 4 2.- Remove PIN 2 Edit 11/3/2016: Thanks to Rasteri here's a corrected pin-out to eliminate a distortion when Innofader Pro was fully open and full volume at cut-in, please follow this new method. Also this only applies to the Innofader Pro, stay tuned for Mini Innofader, Innofader PNP and Innofader Pro 2 Innofader – PT01 Scratch PIN 1 = PIN 2 PIN 2 = Empty PIN 3 = PIN 3 PIN 4 = PIN 1 Remove “X/Y Select” jumper
  8. Hey Rasteri, Would it be possible for you to share what you did to connect the Mini Innofader? (Photos, diagram, Pinout, etc.) Yesterday I order a Mini Innofader for my Z2 but I'll will fit it on my PT01 Scratch now. Thanks!
