  1. Been listening to that radio station for more than 4 years now, love it.
  2. I guess I was lucky last year I was able to get 12 44-7 styli for the ridiculous price of 10€ each... I jumped on it thinking that's a lifetime of styli, especially since I was planning on moving to South Africa and knowing it's almost impossible to import gear there without ridiculous transport and custom fees. And now that I discover the m44s wil be discontinued I really feel as a lucky bastard for having been at the right place at the right time (for once...). You can all imagine that smirk on my face when I read about Shure about two weeks ago.
  3. One for sale popped up in France this month. I have no idea of the condition. https://fr.audiofanzine.com/produit-dj-divers/vestax/VRX-2000-Vinyl-Recorder/petites-annonces/i.1384570.html
  4. This ! Back in the days when some scratch "non aficionado" asked me to demo cuttin'to him/her, I would always choose those samples. Idk why, maybe as a youngsta I thought it was badass attitude to cut those samples as I couldn't do it in real life cause I was too young... Or to mess with my dad when asking me to show his new girl how to cut... I remember some people getting annoyed by that. Anyway no more superseal. I forgot it in my vélib's basket ( you know those bikes you can ride in Paris ) after a scratch sesh at some friends that ended up drinking more than cutting. I also had a few TTM sheets in my record's sleeve so if someday I catch someone with a new combo of mine...
  5. I'm guessing MK stands will do the job now... No more broken back with carrying all this concrete and steel table... I actually never had a real person feedback on those... Everyone on the web is just sayin' it annihilates the wobbling. Anyone has an experience with these over feet ? (this might be another thread sorry).
  6. Ok Schizo here's a dropbox link with videos of me demonstrating you how I do it. If you have any questions do not hesitate. I have to say that with time, my clips loosened a little bit but I remember having to push hard when I first opened the mixer. Hope it goes well for you with the video example. https://www.dropbox.com/sh/9l9zx2vt9ykra13/AACAjktVilp2TBG-JOivgX-ia?dl=0
  7. Ok I'll try to that tonight or tomorrow. I'll send you a message when it's done.
  8. Ok no probz, if you're having trouble I'll send you a quick video edit and/or photos.
  9. Yo ! I had the exactly same "E-Clips" (I call'em that way) on my vestax samuraï fader. I believe there is a specific claw to remove them but I used to use a long nose plier to spread them, and it worked perfectly well. Only advice I have would give you is to make sure they don't jump off the rail cause they can be really hard to find afterwards In order to do that I used a small piece of tape so at least they would remain sticked to it. To put them back on you will only have to push them in again (with strength cause they're not easy to bend). If it's not clear for you I'll put some photos of the procedure with my Vestax.
  10. As Vekked said the newer Scratch Science are really well sounding on aahh's and freshhhh's !! And you can can also find those samples really good sounding on the "just for your hand" records as well (Diess Prod) but they're not skipless on those... Worth it if you want to sample in serato or traktor, or if you have that needle that sticks on the record... I also think that if you have skillz in sound recording and EQing you can manage to do just what you're looking for if using digital... I believe old school scratch records were not as good as the latest pressings you can find on the market. Worst aahh's were on a DJ Rectangle breakbeat that I've had for years now. Plus it was a white pressing and you can't see shit on it, like where you wanna put the needle on... CNP's are dope though So grab one and you shouldn't be disappointed !! (do I get one for free sayin' this for free ?)
  11. Just got myself a Tascam Portastudio 424 for 150€. Perfectly works !!
  12. @nojokenejo thx Diggla !!
