  1. Agreed at 2:40 I practically shat myself.
  2. As ericuk has been slamming uploads this week like they're going out of fashion (props!) I threw him a beat I'd edited a while ago for fun. Anyone feeling they wanna dust off the decks and/or show what they got all in good fun and in the name of getting some feedback (in may case I could do with all the help I can get!) links are below: It maybe not over what you normally do but that's maybe the point. I like doing things out of my comfort zone and I think as people with decks and the creative juices and what not, we all like a challenge Chuck your link below - I'll add it to the list. Backing download can be found here: Youtube links: -------------------------------- Mine: ericuk:
  3. Loving session 2 particularly - most of what's going on (especially Mr Back Right side) I can't even imagine how to break that down to even understand wtf is going on. Sounded SWEET though and that's all there is to it.
  4. Ermmmm i may have put about 475 hours in so far (Steam/PC)......and done some tutorials. Maybe. Oddly I don't like football in any shape or form (or any sport for that matter) nor do I like online multiplayer games. Cant get enough of this though!
  5. Hi all, I've been busy for a couple of nights and found a bit of form. It's a bit wobbly near the start but picks up as it goes on. Perhaps could have polished it more but frankly I was pleased how it came out overall particularly over breaks which isn't generally my thing. Here for critique and any tips, not a "look at me" post so feel free to leave any comments. : )
  6. Well, what a shame, this sounded like a great little tool! However, if anyone ever manages to resurrect it in one form or another, I could host it.
  7. Thanks Pete / Justin. In Northampton (cue 'Landan' overspill accent jokes!)
  8. Thanks Pete. Nice to be here (thanks to whoever moved this to the right thread - I did look before posting and didn't see it)
  9. Sorry if this is dragging up an old thread but was in the same situation sometime ago, looking for a free alternative so hoping this helps someone else. This basically looks, feels and works as well as Nero Express with many other features in addition to burning ISOs (burning ripped dvds files etc) without any of the bloat. There is no service that continually runs in the background (like Daemon tools where the last time I had to turn it off from starting up every time by disabling it via msconfig) and i personally prefer the UI over ImgBurn. It doesn't create a virtual drive (so won't show as a useless drive in Explorer which you then have to unmount any ISO you use) and is also available in a portable version so no install required - you can keep and run it from a flashstick or straight folder on your HD somewhere when needed. I've been using it for a few years now and it's my go-to burner. Not installed it for a while so just ensure you read the checkboxes to make sure it doesn't add anything you don't want if you go for the installable option. http://www.starburnsoftware.com/downloads
  10. Was on YT and speaking to Ericuk who I subscribed to some time ago - he suggested I join up so here I am Started mixing in 1995 and self taught on belt drives and a two channel DSM-25 before there was any internet help. Mixing old skool, Happy hardcore, then mainly DNB and breaks from 1996. I created a free mixing tutorial website 19 yrs ago which appears in djing for dummies book......wow i feel old! I was tired of posting the same info over and over on forums (djsource.co.uk anyone?!) around that time so thought that was a good way to do it. I'm more of a scratch dabbler than officianardo - I've got the basics down in the main but looking to get into it more after a ten year break and learn some new patterns and techniques (thanks Ericuk for the recent inspiration!). I moved to Traktor about two years ago but not really used it so want to sort that out as well. . Couple of links in case anyone is interested. website: http://www.djmandrick.com youtube: djmandrick channel link https://www.youtube.com/user/djmandrick Scratch practice on Traktor (dnb): Funky but heavily bass driven breaks mix: "The Ten Year Itch" (no Wicca here as frankly I didn't want to ruin it, breaks is not my forte in scratching just yet.) Look forward to getting involved here when time allows, and any feedback, tips or suggestions on any the above would be great to hear. Thanks for taking time to read M
