Funny, you should post this topic. I'm in the market for a new drum machine - getting sick of my samples and want something I can gig with - and just read this Arturia DrumBrute review. the review is quite honest about what they like and don't like, but it seems to have a lot of bang for the buck for a real analog drum machine. Having a 909 & 808 kick in one box is pretty awesome. Does anyone here own it? Impressions?

Hey DanSwift, If you read the article in FutureMusic, it says Mr. K. is long gone -- which is why Roland is actually trying its hand again at the X0X boxes. @Flexinoodle A sampler is a great call. That would fit right in with their current gear.

So I'm reading about Roland buying headphone company V-Moda in FutureMusic and this little line pops up: For fans of the AIRA vibe, Roland will be making new product announcements on September 9, 2016 (909 Day) – stay tuned. FM gives a nice breakdown of how Roland turned a blind eye to the 303 and 909 when they became much sought after gear...until they launched the AIRA division. If you don't know the history, it's a great way to get up to speed. But someone mentioned that there may be some DJ gear released under the AIRA name. Hey, I just read FutureMusic's Roli Seaboard Rise review and am definitely intrigued. has anyone else used this controller? It's pretty expensive, but it seems to have a LOT of very cool features. FutureMusic kind of bagged on the included soft synth, but since I'm making Dubstep, the sound described would work for my style. Thoughts?
