Not too sure about how to keep the speed steady, but I did encounter that erroneous pitch when I ran through the calibration menu of TSP last week. With the pitch at center click, my 33RPM was almost at 0% but at 45RPM it was at -4% at center. I opened up the little one and found 3 adjustment pots. i just adjusted the 45 trim pot while playing the timecode vinyl until it hit 0%. Can be approximated, but not completey accurate since I had to prop up the PT-01 at the edge of the table to allow it to spin while still giving me access to the pot. Found out after that there's an iOS app called RPM that gives a readout to further check your RPM. I'm sure there's a classier/more refined way to do it, but it worked for me. Brings to mind an idea. It would be tcool if somehow a Raspberry Pi running Xwax could also regulate the speed. Built in DVS and arduino like motor regulation woot! ;-) Cheers!
