  1. thnx for the reply's ofcourse its practise practise practise, but sometimes it feels that your stuck and not making progress today i have learned to drag in a combo whitch ads a lot of flow to my scratches (not so flat anymore) the last weeks i have practised a lot with sentences and did some chirps transforms and cuts with them, cant get flares to sound good with them making progress little by little.

  3. I have the DIF-1s and i like the crossfader, havent used the upfader much and after one month one upfader is bleeding/crackling etc (will replace the upfaders with innofaders) The crossfader is nice but dont expect to much from the rest of the build quality very happy with my Z2 now
  4. i have always had 2 sets of decks (before i quit for a while) so i still have to buy 2 sl 1200's or other turntables. Firts on my list is a Traktor Z2 with a realy fast macbook. x1 and f1 controller maschine (studio) when prices drop a little a rane 57mkIII Novation dicers
  5. my scratches only sound decent with the aah sound. but with most other sound it sounds a lot worse or downright awfull. do i have to change record movements a little? espescially chirping with words sounds horrible. any tips?
  6. When i have learned a few more scratches and combo's, i want to learn them with the strong hand on the record. Atm this feels more natural. I have verf little patience but making good progress for the time i,m investing.

  8. Tablecloths are very nice slipmats but Vekked is right. Its getting better but need to learn to aply more pressure to the record with my tiny hands.
  9. Ok this should be hard for you guys, but im a noob and cant figure it out. Its the pattern in the first six seconds of the clip. he does an explenation later on in the clip but that doesn't help me either.   12. i have been djíng for 20 years but recently switched my focus to scratching
  13. I got very small hands and working in the garden always makes my hand dry as hell. But i dont normally have very dry hands and licking my fingers doesn't solve the problem. I hope new slipmats will. The order for buttur rugs is cancelled (shop didn't had them anymore) so i ordered tablecloths because of the reviews i saw on youtube. Its going to take a few days before i have them because i ordered them from Germany. Will also try a moisturizer. Thnx for the reply's

  16. When i try to some faster scratches my the record slips slowly underneath my hand. when i for example chirp for a while mij hand is a centimeter behind from where i started. any tips for resolving this problem?
  17. Hey im Leon/the infamous. Have been djing from 1995. Mostly drum and bass, had a big forum (dnbforum.nl) for a few years (now sombody els has the domain). Had a label : complex beatz. Always wanted to learn to scratch and now i am going to stick with it. I live in the Netherlands ( excuse my english). Have tons of questions so decided to registratie here after reading Some interesting threads.
