  1. I thought Amen, Brother by The Winstons was gonna be on eBay. EDIT: oh wait it is
  2. Been on here for a while but never intro'd myself. I skratch, bang pads on my MPC and produce some bands.
  3. Owning an MPC and having tried both the MPD16 and the MPC, i'd say skip that shit. It won't give you half the dynamics and 'popping' an MPC has.
  4. Akai has something like this too, it's called an MPD-16. And no: it won't turn your pc into an MPC
  5. Yep, it's a PCV with the cover gone.
  6. Which (European) online store would have the best price for this mixer? link TTLab has it for $ 749, so I guess the same price in € would be great.
  7. I'm thinking about getting the gold one. Has anyone seen it in real life, 'cuz i'm not sure how it'll look.
  8. But how could he possibly skip the MPC series in the gear section? Check out musicplasma, it's similar but with artists/groups.
  9. I could post a 96.9 bpm beat i made yesterday if you want...
  10. Well the 602.5 is very good value for its price, though the difference with your 602 is minimal. The 604 is a bit overrated i think, 603 might be the best buy. Or just get a ASW 650 sub to go with your 602's. As for amps i've never been too fond of spendin 1000s on it. To me an amp amps and that's that. I really can't hear any difference between my Pioneer 514 and a € 1000 NAD amp when properly used.
  11. There's no reason to Bi-amp the 602's, the top end is awesome, crystal clear. The tweeter is based on the Nautilus. In fact the whole frequency range is well balanced. I have them bi-wired with Cable Talk 3.1 wire, and it does a decent job. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I've always had them bi-amped at the job, found them to sound a little different at high volumes when used with a single amp. And i'm just a snob when it comes to speakers
  12. I think the main problem is building a decent cabinet for your speaker. A good cabinet is much more than a wooden box holding the cones. Have a look at the B&W website.
  13. So not true. Some producers have only bad tunes, some have only good ones (well, released only the good ones)
  14. Btw Tekniq, sorry for fucking up your thread.
  15. TIP : You should try bi-amping those 602's, just get a ghetto 100W amp for the highs, you won't know what you're hearing.
  16. You've been saving that one for this special thread isn't it?
  17. Nice! You rockin' a sub with that too? I think the bottom end 's just a bit underrepresented in them. All the rest is fine though I'm still saving for the 603 series 3, though i just got a raise so the 700 series have become an option as well. Don't know for sure if they're as good for their price as the 600 series though...
  18. 17 500 £ a piece or € 26 000... First thing i'll buy when i win the lottery though!
  19. Best speaker in the world, period The cabinet would be a bitch to make yourself though....
  20. Not really ontopic, but all JBL speakers/cones/subs/filters can be ordered from Harmon-Kardon directly. If you have a store near you that's willing to sell them at really low margins you could rebuild any JBL Premium series speaker yourself, except for the cabinet ofcourse. Same thing for B&W, though parts are more expensive, and the best thing about B&W is the cabinets (like the ones with the irregularly shaped pins on the inside to eliminate any unwanted vibrations). Imagine building your own Nautilus
  21. It's actually not that dumb if you're looking for a sharp cut on the upper half of the upfaders. Qualitywise it's mad ofcourse. Anyway, i don't think the rane will work with any other fader than the magnetic ones.
  22. Lord Finesse : Return of the Funkyman
  23. Where did you order from? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Hiphopvinyl.de Free international shipping for orders over € 250, quite cheap

    How?!

It's got little to do with skills, as long as you get enough exposure it's fine to them.
