Im about 6ft which is by no means gargantuan ( love that word ). But most djs seem to be 3ft and a fag but with stumpy fingers and webbed feet, which means im the one ends up with back ache Enjoyed the mix. Totally different genre to what im used to but stuck with it just to wait for the cuts at 16mins. Ended up getting into it Think that genre is beggin to be cut over, gives plenty of scope in terms of scratch material. Ive downloaded a few free loopmasters packs with loads of material that wud work a treat. A good alternative to the 90s hip hop I usually mix with wen am cutting.

Carefull I got a sk2f for the optical fader. Had to get a power pack it turned out to be ac. Had to get it of amazon. Everywhere I took it said id need a dc power pack for it and apparently pluggin a dc pack in wud have fried it.

Goin through the tediously slow process of learning the og with my weak hand on the fader. Thought seeing as I was working on the og I might as well practice it in a pattern. On the left I like the phased og walking so I've been trying to replicate that on the right. Really having difficulty stopping the left hand freezing up. Watched this vid of the normal og walking so I tried that and voila. Can only do it at snails pace but the timing sounds more like it should. Also as another added bonus its an open fader cut as opposed to the phased one and most of the cuts I do on the weak side are open fader so combos a plenty!!! Gud vid

Its turning into terminator 3 man vs machine. The robots have a new quantam processor but have faith as we have chille and his polyscratch mortal kombat style finishing move.

Been watchin sss vids all week. Wanted to be there real bad, ill be coming to the next one even if I have to come on my skateboard. Hopefully I can persuade mr chille and frost to come along, ill pay the petty and get us some munch. If not ill drive it on my own no problem!! Have a gud un lads

Chuffed- late night looper downloaded. Odilon collectable has been my favourite looper for quite a while until now!!!

Found the boy george one quite intresting. We're in the middle of organising an open air rave thing at the mo with camping and what not. There's a large following for that sort of thing round these parts. You can blast out a few basic cuts now and again and the crowd always responds positively Also djs who use vinyl are usually a little more respected with this genre which is nice too see in these glowy button days.

Cheers for clearing that up ethanol. I have a little reloop contour alongside my setup and for the 100 notes or whatever I paid for it its been a good solid little workhorse. Suppose if I had the coin I wud go for the reloop tables

I got my dif 1s from e bay I think from bop dj. 170 notes or summet? Brought me back into this decade. I really should be saving coin for a new lappy but now im tempted to go for a plug and play innofader for the old vesy05.mmmmmm

I got a dif 1s mate. Feels quite solid for the price.the fader click is nowhere near as loud as my old 05 which keeps the missus off my back. Really wish id held out for the 1m tho. Got a bit of a z2 look to it.. (drooooollll)

I really like the look of the reloop tables with the glowing buttons. My only reservation is that I play a lot in nightclubs. And as any one who watched the old dmcs back in the day will remember banging a deck will produce a kick type sound. Well you do that on a big soundsystem and u get a decent boomph. I like to hammer my pads if im in the right mood and Im worried that everytime I trigger a cue ill get a complimentay kick. Whats next? Akai sampler with laggy bands and a pool cue!! If it wasnt for the ultra pitch id only go with the 12's for what I do.

yes mate switch up beats and tempos for sure! also try different time signatures, like 3 time beats is a good one to practice.... I love the little boost a new funky looper gives me. It wears off after a bit. I prefer iinstrumentals to loopers sometimes. The different elements can sometimes send me on a different path.
