  1. Quick update. I realised I was using 250Ω Beyerdynamic headphones with the 57. I swapped them out for a 32Ω pair and haven't had any issues since.
  2. One of my TTM57SL mixers has started to die. If powered off for a while it will work and then after an arbitrary time it will die. When dead the only thing that works is the mic LED when that's turned on. Everything else is dead, no audio, no LED on the USB port, no audio bumps on the headphones when togging the power switch. It needs to de powered for a good day or so before it will work again and then it will only work for an hour or so. I thought the PSU may be flaky but the test points on the PCBs give good reading for +3.3, +5 and ±9volts. Any ideas/suggestions as to what's wrong? Alternatively, is there someone UK based that could check it out? Thanks
  3. Probably not the method you're after but I use a Roland VS880 EX hooked up the mixer. It can record 64+ tracks of audio (8 at time) to an SD or CF card which can easily be imported in to a DAW. No computer needed, adds zero latency and boots in a couple of seconds. They can be had for cheap on eBay. The EX model is backlit (with extra effects) which is beneficial over the original unit.
  4. My 2300MK2 have a fair amount of wobble in the platter but they haven't skipped since I put some Shure m44-7 Turntablist carts on them. Prior to that there were 500ALMK2 on there and they were terrible.
  5. They were 3.3V. According to http://ledcalc.com any resistor over 390 Ω should be ok to pair with it.
  6. Sorry, I have no idea all the parts were found in the spare parts trays at work. I'll see if I can find out tomorrow. The LEDs are mounted facing upwards and there is a hole drilled in the side of the RCA plug that's marginally higher than the platter for the light to shine out. It's not great but you can make out the tracks/grooves on records with it. Cheers. I've got a blue MPC2000XL to got with them.
  7. I made a few using metal RCA jacks, a 1k resistor and some ultrbright blue LEDs. They're not great but get the job done and don't seem to get hot either.
  8. Attempted delivery Friday but had to collect from the post office on my way home today. A nice piece of plastic, well worth the wait. Thanks dude.
  9. Thanks for chasing it up. I received a dispatched email earlier so it looks like I may have been missed.
  10. Nothing here. I've not received any emails either. Also seen this. Payment was taken out 4th Jan.
  11. Any chance this would work? It looks to be the same as the headphone cue Slider on the 56. Are all four of the 56 sliders the same? http://www.showcomms.com/rane/ttm-57sl-performance-mixer/rane-empath-ttm57sl-slider-pot-20kb-12061.html
