  1. It would be slick to have a selector so all 3 of these end up in the same looper, then the tapes change colour and you're away.
  2. Thank you so much. Loving the 108bpm. Happy boy. If this isn't the best looper around at the moment, I wanna see the one that supposedly is!
  3. What a guy! Okay, I will follow this thread and keep a beady one out. Thanks, man.
  4. I fucking love this looper. I was getting bored and uninspired but after I downloaded this, I did my first hour-long practise in a looong time. Is it too much of an ask to request the beats in 120bpm format? I can rip it and resample it, but I realise that is moody!
  5. It's a shame those Dicers cannot be mounted somewhere.
  6. Yeah my son has no shame, despite now being 13 - he plays his iPhone on loudspeaker and lip-syncs to the tune and invariably it will break into dubstep and he will just dance like a loon... in the middle of a busy shopping centre. Like, he sings to you as we'll, almost like he means the words. It was a bit out of character that he didn't start the video with us. I admire his confidence but at the time I get really coy! I dunno what the "switchy hands on knees" thing is, but I knew what you meant so will go with that!
  7. A few people have said that! I think I may have sabotaged her there! I am no better dancing with partners either! Especially ones so short!
  8. Yeah that's most of them. My eldest daughter isn't in there. She only sees me for money!
  9. So, so good. Pair of fuckers. I hate them. Lol they are both a ridiculously high-standard. Where does that beat come form?
  10. I see. I want to change my original answer to "I don't know".
  11. Don't quote me because I am also limited, but I always thought the root key of a standard guitar tuning was G, so a capos on the the first fret would make it G#. I do know that with slide guitar (my "forte" if that's what I was aiming for) you basically retune it so when you open-strum it, it plays a chord - you then add a capo to step it up.

  13. I think one should cherish the original and ruin the repress so if you keep the OG purely for listening to, the fact of whether they are the same or different in sound quality is moot.
  14. It's a bit more upbeat than this and deffo not Skinnyman. He sounds more like Akala, but cannot find it on his discography so must be something else.
  15. Please help me figure out what tune this is. This has been driving me mad ever since I got a bag nicked with a few of my CDs in it: - the chorus goes something like "is this my time, so is this my time to shine... I got too much on the line.......... When I rhyme in time with them violins". Or something like that. - it's got an orchestral (hence the violin reference) sample looped up. - I think it's either on a Scratch Perverts CD (maybe the Big Issue one) or the THTC Mixtape mixed by DJ Khalil, but I cannot DL either successfully. I'm sorry I have no more info to go on.
  16. Poor kid! He shoulda just put it on www.seemyporn.com thus disarming his tormentor. Get it out there. Which maybe makes me think it probably wasn't standard wanking.
  17. There's nothing to stop DV hosting a pure vinyl competition? I'm guessing you could get some phat prizes with your contacts. Oh there is one thing: the ag!
  18. Let's fix this. Nobody likes their music income, umm, defiled by pirates, so, is there any mileage in: - t-shirts, keyrings packaged with the CDs? I guess this will only make fans buy it - like when they sold the Red Dwarf box set was sold with a toy ship. - some kind of MP3 player affair that will only play your album? Could make it look like a cassette? - a solely online-accessed album (like Netflix)? - something else. None of these ideas will cure piracy - I do realise that, but maybe an "almost" solution is attainable or at the very least make it ag to copy.
  19. I guess people alreasy knew this but Chile has made some lovely choices of kit there - the Electribe enjoys the easiness of a sampler/sequencer which is then ramped through an on-board valve amp - these can be upgraded to military-grade and they ound awesome and then if you read about the Radias below, it looks like a fun piece of kit too. http://www.soundonsound.com/sos/apr06/articles/korgradias.htm
