[I live(d) hip hop]

When I was growing up in the small town where I grew up I was only into what my parents played me, which was Christian music (long story).

 

Then I had a friend at school who liked jazz when she was about 11 (seriously) and she had tonnes of jazz tapes so we'd listen to them secretly. Then I started getting into electronica from jazz, stuff like Aphex and autechre. Then I got into a lot of the britpop stuff at the time (mid 90s) but then due to a number of reasons I got quite into the church again for about ten years, then for another set of reasons I left under unpleasant circumstances.

 

I don't even like hip hop to be honest.

I've had this problem on my Shure White Labels. It's an old wives' tale but licking the needles or just kind of giving them a little kiss at the point where it connects with the headshell seems to fix it in 90% of cases.
