Hopefully I can get the whole clip soonish. Glad you all liked it though, can't wait for the DMC U.S. Finals! Edit: also Kid Koala came me after my set and told me that my cuts were "fucking clean" and the mixing was pretty good :-) He put on one hell of a show, much respect to him as a musician/DJ/performer

couldn't agree more. Scratching retired me from multiplayer cod; not such a bad thing. I can scratch for hours after a smoke, once it wear off i just repeat. your not smoking enough, smoke more. Damn this literally describes me. I used to be nasty on Halo 3/COD4 days like I had the sickest BR you'd ever seen :-) Haha nah, but yeah I was really into online multiplayer and when I wanted to quit being the "nerdy kid who plays cod all day" to the "cool dj". Too bad I ended up on the wrong side of things and now I'm just a nerd in another "cooler" regard :-) Still love scratching though

I have a PMC06Pro VCA with the Vestax CF-CC and I have noticed that there is a bass "pop" when the curve is set too sharp on that mixer. This can be resolved by routing this mixer into another mixer and killing the bass there but it's just a minor inconvenience. Still a fun little mixer for scratching!

Only suggestion I have are beats, I think cutting over some 82ish Toadstyle ish would be fun for the competition.

I've always used Tablecloths but I finally got some Butter Rugs. I found the tablecloths are better for juggling because simply put, Butter Rugs are just too slippy. They are also a bit too thin so even is a record is warped by just a little, it'll skip a lot more than the tablecloth. I do prefer my tablecloths.

^ seconded. cs1 spacers (i seem to remember thats what they're called?) are made of dense rubber....work a charm to dead out noise!! I actually have a whole bag of those little fuckers back in the uk, along with my 08 with pro x inside......wish i had it here. Vestax with cut lag spacers are dead quiet, a nice little "thud". Ranes and Innofaders are second.
