  1. Thats really cool. I just skratch but im thinking about getting back into mixing & djing partys again (its been years though and i haven't listened to new music in almost 10 yrs so i have a LOT of catching up to do). I think when the times right i may grab one of these to get myself started.
  2. The xone 02 is real dope. I had one with an innofader and i loved it. Sold it like a fool. Highly recommended.
  3. I like the 04 but wouldn't buy it for the $. There are way better mixers for that price imo. Go for a rane (57 or just keep that 56 and get an external controller) you wont be disappointed. Id keep the 150s when it comes to the decks. Im a big fan of the super oem turntables. There solid decks they have great features and have the best feel to them (next to 1200s but thats just an opinion everyone is different )
  4. My broke ass got an all black one. Very happy with it. I went in with extremely low expectations but it seems to be good. A new option for those (like me) that are still buying old vestax & stanton mixers off ebay. Only real complaint would be the line faders but there fine for me. I dont skratch with them much and use em for mixing (which i rarely do). Huge plus is the fader caps can be replaced with vestax ones. Very good look if you came up on those. Keep in mind im a basic (and broke) skratcher. If your one of those rich dudes with money in the bank for a brand new 62, One of those djs that need to look like the man, or only if you only skratch with mixers that have built in efx (or anything like that) this isn't the mixer for you. If your just the average skratch junkie trying to have some fun in the bedroom or looking for a 2nd mixer to jam with other skratchers jump on it.
  5. Definitely getting in on this one!
  6. Sup everyone? Check out my video for the 2013 IDA Skratch battle! I was wrapped up with other stuff (just moved re-starting a business and other shit) so I mainly just freestyled it. There are a lot of dope heads that signed up so wish my ass luck
  7. Thanks a lot vek. That advice on the pitch may be the best I have received in a long time. People alway tell me learn different combos, turn arounds, syncopated notes and all that (wich do all work and have helped) to help switch things up but no one ever really pointed me in that direction. Thanks. Something I'll start working on today. Greatly appreciated homie
  8. Thanks man. Yea its a bit repetitive. Transitioning my cuts is probably one of my bigger weaknesses. I started skratching in 2000 but took a few years off between now and then. Collectively around 7 or 8 years I'd say. (I think im back into it for 3 or 4 years now)
  9. Sup everyone? I'm not so active on here but that's going to change. For those who don't know i'm stevie e aka steve skratch. Im 27 from New York but currently living in Florida (us). Here's a little skratch vid I uploaded the other day. Feedback/criticism is welcome
