I've got an unopened M44g cart/stylus. I've also got a separate new spare M44g stylus. For €3000 you can have both.
That is a great deal. Do you accept Tesco vouchers?

Thanks. The Jico are very expensive. 104€ compared to 44€ for a pair or tonars (with shipping). I will try a pair of Tonar I think

Hi all,
I just broke my last og stylus. I went on Amazon and just seached a bit for a replacement. There is millions of variants. Tonar, Tkakker, ibat, Normarh.
Anyone have any experience with this. What is good to get. Its very confusing -
You should not overdo with the deoxit. A good clean now and then is good.
I would say I go over my mixers every 4 year if they are in use.
I also dont have any mixer covers and my place has a lot of pets so there is dust and hairs everywhere.
The proper way of cleaning is to take the mixer apart and clean everything with isopropanol. Then you should apply some contact spray. If you like deoxit use D5.
For fader rails I suggest to use a small amount of teflon spray. That is also what rane recommends.- 2

Its very possible. Unfortunately I don't remember what I did. -

No..You need a 5pin midi out for it to work. Or you have to have a usb midi interface also and pass it though a computer

So sad. I dont want to switch back to ortofon again.

@Backtrack - If a London visit isn't mandatory, what about flying direct to Bristol airport?
Yea... That would be nice but they are about 200€ more

I think the PT-S has DC in and Original PT has AC in. That is why the schematic is not the same
That diode is prob circuit protection for the voltage regulator when batteries also installed. Thats my guess... I think a 1N4004 should work for you.- 1

Any accommodation recommendations? What times will it kick off?
Also trains from London is running all the time? Anything else? Any flu shots or anything? Never been to Bristol -
If you didn't know Im British. I love afternoon tea, rain, top hats and the royal family.... I´ll be there.

M44-7 Replacement stylus
in EQUIPMENT & AUDIO PRODUCTION

After one week and maybe 6-7 hours of scratching using the Tonar I must say it's pretty equal to the OG N-44-7. 4 grams seems to be the sweet spot for my clumsy scratching.
