A quick teaser type video using a few of the loops from 12" CNP009 "Improvise Wisely" by Redmist. It's a wickedly on point scratch/production tool, I suspect any producers getting this one going to thoroughly enjoy the feck out of it.

Hahahahahah! I'd mixed years up. I only now see this is an old thread! One day we'll be in the same room.

I'll show you my set up with Traktor for live looping in Galway Joe. It's pretty straight forward. It allows me to catch clean loops without too much worry as long as I've put the work for practice in. While prerecorded is for sure way safer, when I can find a good way to be able to pull all the loops live, it leaves a great feeling for myself. Mission accomplished kinda thing.

If you go to the Settings Menu, you'll find the Traktor Kontrol Z2 menu. You should be able to recalibrate the CF in this menu. It may or may not help you, but it's worth taking a look.

Super dope man. I like the idea of keeping the goal you trying to reach slightly higher than reality to help push you out of your comfort zone. Good call, I'm a try and work that concept into my play. Great 10 minutes of funk. Really enjoying it.

I'm using the Traktor loop recorder in this video. I have used a SoundBite Pro in a few other videos, but I mostly use the loop recorder.

I got myself a pocket operator which is a great toy for adding small parts to loop built tracks.

Keeping my scratch journal up to date. Nothing super duper new in this short one. I'm using the Traktor loop recorder + SoundBITE Pro to grab loops, and for effects. I've also snuck in one of DJ Chile's wicked scratch patterns A.K.A. "The Internet Scratch" which I particularly love.
